Production of the all-new, re-designed 2022 Toyota Tundra at San Antonio’s Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Texas (TMMTX) has begun, and Toyota of Plano will be one of the first dealerships to receive inventory. This comes after TMMTX spent a cumulative investment of over $3.1 billion to ensure seamless production of the 2022 Tundra. This impressive investment went towards the expansion of the Texas manufacturer’s facility by 141,000 linear feet, which is equivalent to 470 football fields.
Last year, we had a particularly cold winter, and this unanticipated weather led to extreme road conditions and several electricity outages, across the state of Texas. This year, Toyota of Plano has pledged to help our customers be better prepared for any unexpected winter weather.
