Your Headlights Offer Brighter Beginnings
Periodically we like if you bring your vehicle in to Toyota Of Plano so that we can make sure that your vehicle is running efficiently and safely. This can include things like a routine oil change, topping off fluids like transmission fluid, oil and windshield wiper fluid or we can do things like change out your headlights and make sure you can see properly at night. Some people do the majority of their driving during the day and this is fine.
Edmunds Falls Fast for First-Class 2017 Toyota Avalon
Has the search for your next automotive purchase led you to the full-size sedan segment? Well, if so, we here at Toyota of Plano think you should say hello to ours, the 2017 Avalon.
And why's that, exactly?
Pair up with the pundits over at Edmunds; they're here to explain it all:
Toyota definitely served up a slam-dunk with the Avalon's engine, a 3.5-liter V6.
Complemented by a six-speed automatic transmission, the V6 musters a stout 268 horsepower and 248 pound-feet of torque. Front-wheel drive is standard.
And we're pretty pleased with its fuel efficiency…
Toyota looks to the future of self-driving vehicles
Autonomous vehicle technology is being developed but one question often asked is, how will it be tested? Toyota Research Institute (TRI) found the answer on a course in Concord, CA.
TRI entered into an agreement with GoMentum Station to test its autonomous vehicle technology on a 5,000-acre course that has varied terrain, real-life infrastructure including roads, bridges, tunnels, intersections and parking lots.

Late last month, Toyota announced that the company is investing in five U.S. plants order to support the production of its first American-made hybrid powertrain -- as well as engines that complement Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA).

This is how the investment will be distributed:
Your Oil Needs to Be Clean
Keeping the oil in your car clean keeps it running efficiently and even helps to reduce carbon and varnish from accumulating in the engine. It doesn't matter what kind of oil that you use because it will eventually get sludgy if not swapped out often.
Ever wonder if you need to get an oil change every 3,000 miles? We can help. https://t.co/SdWeVxpflg pic.twitter.com/N6iFv1cj5r

Why Your Car May Not Be Fully Insured
If you have purchased car insurance in the past, then you probably already know the standard terminology: liability, deductibles, collision, etc. But what you may not know is that if you are buying a new car, then you are probably not covered for the full amount of the car's value if it is in a major accident or stolen.
