Toyota makes some rugged trucks. Some might go so far as to say they're "indestructible."
At least that's what somebody told the hosts of Top Gear. Ever eager to test claims that involve chaos and destruction, Jeremy Clarkson acquired a used pickup from a farm and began doing everything he could think of to ruin it.
What kinds of things does your car have to handle on an average day? High heat? Clarkson lit the truck on fire. How about flood damage? Clarkson tied the old Toyota down in a tide zone until the salty waves swept it away. Perhaps an accident or collision? Clarkson hit the truck with a wrecking ball.
Baffled, the Top Gear host had to admit that maybe, just maybe, a Toyota really can be indestructible.
