This summer, Toyota of Plano proudly joined Toyota’s Big Summer Giveback—an initiative aimed at uplifting local communities and helping students gear up for success. As part of this effort,Toyota of Plano donated $2,500, which was matched by the Kids In Need Foundation for a total of $5,000—directly benefiting 200 students at Camey Elementary School in The Colony, TX.
The Big Summer Giveback is powered by a meaningful partnership between Toyota and the Kids In Need Foundation (KINF)—a nonprofit dedicated to ensuring every child is equipped to learn and succeed in school. Through this national program, Toyota dealers across the country are helping to provide essential school supplies to underserved students, helping to close the resource gap that affects millions of children each year. Toyota’s commitment, amplified by the work of KINF, helps bring real, tangible support to the classrooms that need it most.
With school supplies becoming more expensive and families facing increasing financial pressures, this donation couldn’t have come at a better time. The funds will provide essential tools—like backpacks, notebooks, writing utensils, and more—that students need to stay focused, confident, and prepared throughout the school year.
At Toyota of Plano, we believe in more than just selling cars—we believe in driving change. Supporting education in underserved communities is just one of the many ways we aim to give back and invest in a brighter future for the next generation.
We're honored to stand alongside Camey Elementary and help create opportunities where they’re needed most. Here's to a great school year ahead—for every student we’re lucky enough to help.
